Changes to this manual¶

The manual has its own version number. Each version states which app versions it describes. Changes to the apps themselves are in the changelog.

v1.6 (2026-11-06)¶

Describes Android 1.019, Ubuntu 1.025 and Windows 1.022.

Voice keyboard: the new layout, with a picture of it, the gold keyboard key, hold delete to remove a sentence, and tapping the mic name to change mic.
Android: mic order, Hide in these apps, the Noise filter and Model location.
Desktop: the Noise filter, Calibrate and Benchmarks. These are newer than the Windows build.
Shakshuka is listed for computers only.
The Android screenshot of the old Automatic mic setting is gone. The other Android screenshots are still from version 1.012.

Describes Android 1.014, Ubuntu 1.022 and Windows 1.022.

The Windows build has caught up, so the "not in the Windows build yet" notes are gone.

Describes Android 1.014, Ubuntu 1.021 and Windows 1.012.

Describes Android 1.013, Ubuntu 1.020 and Windows 1.012.

Active model in the tray, and the Select Sabich, Select Shakshuka and Toggle model action keys.

Describes Android 1.013, Ubuntu 1.019 and Windows 1.012.

One Sabich: the apps no longer offer Sabich (Stable), and the model that was Sabich (Rolling) is now just Sabich, the default everywhere.
Voice detection is one switch for every mode on the desktop.
The Android screenshots are still from version 1.012, so the Models screen in them shows the old names.

Describes the same app versions as v1.0.

Android pages now have screenshots from a phone, version 1.012. All of them are on the screenshots page.
